I joined both this and "the other forum" when I bought my Street Glide. Frequented both of them for a while. I gradually started coming here more than there for most of the reasons mentioned. For info, advice or just a good laugh this one has "the other one" beat hands down.
When I had my V-Rod I spent all of my time on 1130cc.com. Which is still the premier V-Rod forum.
I like this place too...Good people, great information and I have to say the Administrators and moderators do a great thankless job....They give us a lot of leeway with a lot of different BS we post, they know we are all big kids and sometimes we have to be reminded but for most part the people here are just Awesome...It is a great way to take your mind off the regular hussle and bussle of the daily grind...
Thanks to all that make this place what it is.
That says it all. Also reminded about this thread a few months ago.
Talking about the one where there is a sub-culture going on about cattle? Oh no, that HERD, not cattle.
Anyway, joined a couple of others and still check them about once a year and run back here fast. While some of the posturing and comments here drive me nuts time-to-time overall this is the best hands down.
ha, this is my most frequented too. at HDT*lking they give you a reprimand for the smallest percieved cuss word, you can't even write sh*t leaving out a letter, the post will be banished by the cuss police. Couple others Harley Tech Talk and Vtwin have some good info, some good sponsers over at Vtwin.
