I have got a very pronounced shake at idle and slow speeds that comes and goes with the press of the rear brake pedal? It ain't my first Harley, so I know they shake, but this is very noticeable. I noticed it first making a slow speed turn. Today, while stopped and idleing, I realized that it went away when I pressed the rear brake pedal.

Anyone know what this is?
Do you have ABS?
I have ABS and my shake at idle increases when the brake is applied.
I had problem rattling and vibrations get loud and worse when grab front brake found out it was rubber pieces that holds the rear of the exhaust under bags was dried up and limiting the movement of floating of the pipes.Any way I sprayed some silicone spray on it wallah it's gone quit and less vibes.I think the noise just made me think it's vibrates violently.
The front tire absorbs a lot of the vibration when your at a stop. If you hold the front brake the front tire cannot move back and forth and the vibration transmits back thru the bike. I stayed at Holiday in Express last night thats how I came up that answer.
No oil on disc...Not the muffler bracket rubber either as the bike only has 300 miles on it. No ABS. When I push on the rear brake pedal it goes away (at least to a normal HD shake). Front brake has no effect. I am wondering if it is a bad motor mount, is there one in the rear?
After doing some research, I am convinced it is a motor mount. Since the bike is pretty much new, I will be taking it to the dealer sometime this week. I will post the results.
Your bike looks great with those black pipes. What brand are they?
My '10 FLHX arrives at the dealership on Monday & I'm getting a Stage II kit, Screamin' Eagle EFI Super Tuner & a screamin' Eagle Stage I AC & I'm lovin' the look of the black pipes.
