Default Audio Question

OK, I've looked at the Owner's Manual and I either missed it or it's not there.

Sometimes when I have been listening to a CD, the next time I turn on my ignition it's not on CD. It used to happen every now and then, the past couple of days it always on Weather Band when I go to fire it up, instead of the CD.

Anybody know the fix for this?

Don't feel alone, mines done that since the day I brought it home from the dealer as far as it goes from cd to radio when I turn the bike off and restart it.Now its never went to the weather band but does go to the last channel I listened to on the radio. Haven't thought much bout it but if its not supposed to do that drop me a line and let me know.

Harmon Kardon Head Units Su*k! I had 2... 05 Scream-n=Eagles that were nothing but FRUSTRATING when it came to the radios, cd player. Harley got Frustrated too, cause they had to replace them twice in each bike. That paticular radio is not cheap either! The best fix is to replace it with a Sony or a Alpine. Hawg-Wired has a section on there web site with radios that they reccomend to use with there wiring harness,... bracket replacement parts... and so forth. I doubt you'll ever be satisfied with a fix with that Harmon-Kardon! IMHO... Iron Cross charges about $300.00 to fix... and then say they'll fix things that hasnt gone wrong yet!-... Blah-Blah-Blah! Just take the plunge and do it right with Biketronics, Hawg-Wired or whatever ya decide! Pull that JUNK stock crap out of there. For the ULTIMATE FIX!

Try a search on software update. I had a similar problem where my radio would come on by itself, when I would start my bke, and I know that I turned it off before I shut the bike down. software upgrade fixed it. 8.22.0 version.
