Did the upgrade to the radio a few weeks ago with no problem. However ever since then the radio turns on anytime I start the bike - even if it was off when I shut down. Anyone else got this going on or got any clues to correct it?
Usually I never turn it off so when I did turn it off at the dealership the other day and it was on when I restarted the bike I thought I must not have turned it off..... I'll have to go check it again now that you mention the same behavior.

Mine does the same da%# thing. Started with 8.9 and continues with 8.11. The WB alert satus in the WB has nothing to do with it. Leave it up to H-D to FU something a simple as a radio.
Gotta wait for the next BS, HD/HK software upgrade to fix the latest f--ked-up software....pullin' the maxi fuse does absolutely nothing! [:@] Guess we should be happy to at least have sound, along with the software gremlins.
Yep, same thing here after upgrade to 8.11. I found if you turn the speaker switch all the way off, the radio will still be off the next time you start the bike, at least on mine. Oh well, this must be the undocumented radio auto start feature
