Going to get the front forks and engine guard on my 2010 Police Electra Glide powdercoated black. Was contemplating getting the saddlebag guards and rails done also. Anybody have pics of how this looks? Thanks in advance!
I haven't seen one like that but I bet it'll look nice
If I do say so myself, yes, they do look great, although I've tweaked mine a bit so they're not "just" the rails & guards.
gman116, Your timing is 'almost' perfect! It's late by the time I'm reading your post, AND, because I f-i-n-a-l-l-y finished my bike, I have plans on taking the pics tomorrow with proper light during a nice day. So, if you'll hang on for just a day, I'll fix you up with some pics. I've not only done the rails, I've added a lot of my own little design elements in the quest to tastefully black out my bike and I think I may have succeeded in making mine look a bit less common. So bare with me, I'll post the pics as soon as I return in the evening.
Butcher-Looking forward to the pics. I'm not taking my bike apart for the powdercoating until next weekend, so I'll wait to see the photos you post. I appreciate it!--Greg
Hi Greg, and all,
Thanks for hanging on a bit. Went out this afternoon to shoot some pics of the bike and various pieces. The weather man was on crack I guess because the weather was just weird, so some of the pics are just so-so in terms of decent color and whatnot. I'll be posting pics on different threads because some members have inquired about this-n-that and I'll do my best to respond to the threads the subscribed to. Anyway, here's some blacked out saddlebag guards w/rails, and a little twist.
Hope you like. A couple close-ups and a sample profile pic.
That is one sweet looking bike!!! I'm sold on getting the bag rails done. The insert in between the rails looks great! Got a couple questions on the powdercoating you had done. I'll PM you. Thanks Butcher and everyone else who contributed!
