that screw is a battery cable screw, i always put the screws there when i pull a battery so i dont loose them,then forget were i put them.. and have to get a replacement screw.. just pull it out and save it/thro it out, so it doesnt end up falling into the beltdrive
That's what I was starting to lean towards, it's in a coffee can now.

OH THAT SCREW! That screw tightens if you turn it to the right....OR....if you want to loosen it, try turning it counter-clockwise. My guess is you will need some sort of tool to turn it either direction. If you turn all the way to right, and can't turn it anymore, that means it is as tight as it will go. If you tuurn it too far to the left it will most likely fall out. At that point, you will risk losing it, and the possibility of having to buy a new screw and starting all over is very high.

My Ultra Classic doesn't have a screw there. Should I run out and put one there, just in case? (Will I have to re-map my fuel system?) LOL
