no experience with the ld but have worn the under armor. Same principal as the Ld. They make a big difference and can ride much longer with them on. On a multipile day trip I ran out and the day I wore the ol cotton briefs i was uncomfortable. They have knockoffs at walmart and such, stay away from them, there seam is at an uncomfortable position. The under armor brand have flat seams and not in an uncomfortable position.

I have heard this numerous times. There is a huge difference between LDComfort, Under Armor, ProPlayer and especially bicycle riding shorts. I have them all and the LD's out preform all the others by a LONG way. Try them, u won't be disappointed.

They are specifically designed for MC riders with no seams on the a$$ at all....They say they are worth the $40+ pricetag....I wear the franklin baseball shorts from wall mart and they work pretty decent but as previously said the seam is not placed in the best position...Still works better than cotton as it reduces shear on the skin.

I've been using them for the last 7 years or so. Never leave home without 'em....
