I have used a Battery Tender Jr. for the past couple of winters. It has performed flawlessly. I think I paid around $30.00 for it. $75 sounds like more than you need to spend.
Why do I bother?! Hope someone was able to take advantage. If you need a two bank full (not jr.) tender this is/was a great deal. And no, Schumacher doesn't make Deltran products but Deltran does make Harley's battery tenders. By way of comparison the Harley branded version (made by Deltran) of this device costs $130 (http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US)
ps - I currently have 1 generator, 2 motorcycles and 2 cars hooked up to battery tenders. Multibank tenders are quite useful in that regard but the best bang for the buck's always been the 2 bank.
And - yes, if I wanted a Schumacher charger I could buy 5 for $75 at Walmart - very true. I happen to have had particularly good success with Deltran.
