Default Lesson learned

So I ordered the Mustang lid covers from http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/ on the 3rd of March I thought, good deal, on sale and should have them in no time. Wrong! For the few bucks I saved I had to wait until today, yes today to get them. Just how can a sale item be on back order? oh, I see it's always on sale. Never again....
If you want these covers go to Mustang direct. Lesson learned.

It's not like it was a busted engine part that you couldn't ride until it arrived....How long did you ride without the covers before you decided to buy them....To each his own but for trinkets and such, a few weeks to save some money is not a long time to wait...Just my 2 cents on it....

I don't care how long I waited to get something or how important it may be. Once I laid out the cash I certainly want it in less than 3 + weeks.

I've got to say, I ordered my seat and lid cover directly from Mustang. A couple of days later they called me to tell me the seat had shipped and that the lid covers were back ordered. A couple of days later they called again to say the lid covers had shipped. Now I call that service.

Thats the chance you take when you order something. Next time go buy it off the shelf. I personally would have canceled the order after a week. I'm in control of my money.

I went through exactly the same thing. I ordered the lid covers from them because the price was the lowest I could find. They charged my card the day I ordered them on March 1st. I received them yesterday. I won't order from them again either. I am happy with the covers the fit much better than the HD covers.
