My dealers trying to locate a Merlot FLHTK for me. I'm not sure how motivated he is as I think he would prefer to move the Red/Black or Blue/Black models on the floor. If anyone sees one at a dealer let me know
where in ma are you? Try American in Leominster, talk to Marlene or Fran...
congrats on your new ride. I took delivery of mine 2 wwks ago...WOW...I love it. I just wish the weather was a litttle warmer here. I bought a haeted vest and tryed it aot today at 28 deg. it worked out great.I should have bought one sooner.
I picked up my White Ice Pearl/Black Ice Pearl just over a week ago and was able to get some miles on it last weekend. Love the bike and can't wait to finish the break-in miles. I have the Fuel Moto package ordered but the 2-1-2 headpipe is out of stock and won't be available for a couple of weeks. I went from a 2003 Ultra to the 2010 Limited and it was a big leap with all the changes. It is a great bike and I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.
All the positive posts about the Limited certainly got me interested so I went down to the dealer today to open negotiations to upgrade from my 08 Ultra (which I am still REALLY happy with)
Thing I don't understand is where all these various colour options are coming from. The HD website, and what our dealer offered, only shows 3 colour options. The merlot option is no where to be found or am I missing something?
Besides the stadard color options, they offered 2 custom colors:
Merlot Sunglo/Cherry Red Sunglo (Oct 2009-March 2010)
White Ice Pearl/Black Ice Pearl (Jan - May 2010)
The intersting thing is they say it is a $1200 upgrade chage in the 2010 brochure, but on-line it shows only a $200 upgrade charge. The out-of-state dealer I bought from discounted off MSRP of $24899 and had both custom paint bikes.
But I don't know if that applies to the UK ????
I went to the UK website and no custom colors are listed. Maybe US only??
look at the US site and you can see them, but it will make you sad if you can't get them over the pond. They are both beautiful! http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...odel/flhtk/pnw
