Default Another Handlebar Question...but

I'm considering the Wild one 575s (based on what I read here) but I need to hear from you guys how they might handle with tight circles, turns, fig 8s, etc.

I ride on the Shriner Parade Drill team in my area and I can't take the chance of having my handlebars become a problem. My bike's a FLHTPI.

Thanks.

I will have a set for sale this week.
Taking them off my bro's bike...he wants taller bars.
Chrome, perfect condition.
PM me if you're interested.

I can not comment specifically on wild one 575's, but tather taller handlebars in general, but not knowing the height of the 575's. I recently installed PYO 12" monkey bagger bars on my streetglide and will say it is a bit tougher to navigate parking lots and such at slower speeds. I do however believe that with a bit more experience with these bars I will be comfortable with them at lower speeds/tighter turning radius. If you are on a drill team, your riding ability way exceeds mine, and I think you will adjust just fine.

Good luck,
Steve

you won't have any problem with the 575's, they are slightly higher and have a little futher pull back than the stock bars, but they are not tall bars by any means, I run the 577's 12.5 bagger apes ,they are taller, the 575's are basically a relaxed stock bar so you don't have to reach as much, low speed turns should be easier with them

Cool. I'm going with the 575s. Now.. I've tried searching but I can't come up with any instructions on this site on the best way to install them. I'm looking for a parts list, lessons learned, etc. I see posts referencing the great instructions out there but no links. Will someone who knows where they are post a link? Thanks.

I have the 575's on an 08 Ultra. I love them. The bars are slightly higher and pullback is further than stock and I believe you will adapt to those changes immediately but there is something you might want to consider. The bars are noticeably wider than stock too. You are most assuredly better at the tight slow speed turns than I am but I find at almost full lock on a left turn that the reach causes me to feel less confident of my throttle control than the same situation in reverse. I haven't practiced this as much as I should so maybe it's a perception on my part. In parking lots I never experience an issue.

I have the 575's what everybody else said about the handling, you shouldn't have any problems. I had to also get a 4" longer Clutch Cable & 1 piece mounting bracket.
