I just got a 2010 Street glide and I'm not enjoying the 2 into 1 system at all! What would be my best option to get into a 2 into 2 system. I want a loud exhaust with that signature Harley sound, but not obnoxiously loud either. I was looking at the V&H Big Radius, but haven't heard them in person yet. Any suggestions?
I have had a total of 8 systems on my last two bikes. Each time I have come back to the Vance and Hines Pro Pipe 2 into 1. It has best dyno numbers, sounds good and does not set off car alrarms in the hospital parking garage.
My 08 Road Glide is at the dealer for some warranty work, but while it is there I decided to have them install a Screaming Eagle heavy breather, Screaming Eagle touring mufflers with piston end caps, and a race tuner.
On my previous RG I had the V&H ProPipe, nice pipe with a good sound.
Currently have SE pipes with V&H True Duals. The pipes have a lot of miles on them now and they are getting louder than I want.
Just ordered a pair of V&H Oval Slip-ons (not the Monster Ovals), nice sound and chrome finish.
Did you start out with the quiet baffles or did you start with the std and then change to the quiet? I am interested in the difference in sound and volume.
I have the std and think I might want the quiet for longer trips. I like the sound of the stds but they are just a little louder than I would like to listen to for several 10 hr days in a row.
I started with the std baffles. A little loud for my taste. The quiet baffles are only a little quieter & seem to have a slightly deeper tone.
