I know it's been awhile but did you ever find anything out on HPS? And when you talked to him was it by phone or on e mail?

I have a set of heads there right now. Should get them end of the Week I hope. will let you know what they look like.

 

I just built a 95 inch with 26G cams HPS heads SE 1.725 rocker arms made 100 hp 109 tq a buddy of mine has the HPS heads on his 95 inch about the same hp & tq.

 

Steer clear of this guy. He has had my heads for 3 months. Keeps giving excuses on why they are taking so long. Now his email is returned and he doesn't answer his phone.

Not sure if we ever ended up speaking? If not... Head Performance Specialties has been porting heads and building performance engines for over 30 years. HPS has performance ported and built more than 1,000 sets of Harley-Davidson heads. And as far as eBay goes... HPS has more than 300 positive feedback postings from happy customers. Hey Jim,

I came across your post here and “I’m shocked and confused!” … Well, not really. I’m only kidding. Seriously, I am truly sorry for the delays in getting your heads done. It’s not the way we like to do business.

I do have a few comments though… We rec’d your heads on 5/13 (Yikes, Friday the 13th! maybe that was a hint of troubles to come?) … and they shipped on 7/22, that’s 3 weeks short of your “3 Months” comment.

Also, you make it sound like we didn’t keep you informed when we had communications on 5/9, 5/17, 6/14, 6/15, 6/23 and 7/1. On 6/23 you even revised the order to add compression releases. I believe the only time we weren’t unavailable was over the July 4, holiday weekend.

Still, All things considered I can’t say we provided you excellent service and I again want to apologize! That said, I do hope you are happy with your heads.

On my 02 RK Police.

Built up with S&S Quick set-up, Andrews 21G and PCIII.

Got 83hp/ 95t out of it. Not too bad for a mild build on a 88" motor. Good running bike for the last 5 years. I'm one of the E-Bay A+ customers.

Great heads for the money, yes you can probalbly get better heads, spend alot more money. They are a great buy for the normal person just wanting a little more than stock was giving.

If you got more money and want it all go with the BIG shops, if you're on a budget and want a good running street bike, you can't go wrong with them.
