Trying to figure out the Road King's function button....Know it's a Mileage, Time, Distance Till Empty...& 2 (I think) Trip Meters....but I haven't found anything in the Owner's Manual to explain much.
I've got the Time set, Know which one is the Total Mileage & Distance to Empty.....
How do I finagle the other functions...???
Just a little help, trying not to be too geeky....
If you bought the bike new, the owners manual is a wealth of info that makes for good night time reading.
The geeky stuff escapes me too, but it's all good to know info.
This is my 2nd Road King...first with the 'fancy' function button...like I said, my Owner's Manual DOES NOT explain all of the functions & how to use them....I've read thru it twice....it's sitting about 14" away from me right now. I also got the Service Manual.
That's why I posted my question...since I managed to determine 3 total functions so far, I'm a little more geeky than 1st described, but wanted to know more.
Thanx for responses...but understand I did RTFM !!!
Disregard all of the above.....finally found out the info I was looking for.......as to the Owner's Manual, mine seems to be defective....missing pages....index only goes up to F.....Hope Harley doesn't get a Toyota problem.
Thanx for readin'....this problem is deemed solved
Your selling dealer's salesman should have walked you through that stuff. They went through everything with me, so much I had to tell him to stop. I'm sure they will get ya a new Owner's Manual
