Geez, here I was all ready to defend HOGTUNES.
Not only are they a great upgrade from OE, their service is OUTSTANDING! My order got held up for a couple of weeks (they can't ship to PO Boxes). When I e-mailed to ask about it, they phoned me two minutes later (at 9pm) and got a street address. She sent them via overnight air freight at their expense because I mentioned I was leaving soon on a long tour. When I asked about installing them on a RG, the owner got on the line to reassure me that I would have no trouble getting the outer fairing off to swap them out (and I didn't.... Course, we didn't talk about the joy of putting it back on, but it got done). Spent another ten minutes talking about some of the rides he makes from his part of the world (eastern Canada) and where I was heading next week. They're a great company to deal with. Wish they were all this consciencious.

I tried to get them installed in Sturgis and had bad experiences with both booths out there. I am going to wait until this fall and deal with Pez directly. He seems to be fair and decent to deal with. I could definitely use the increased volume going down the highway.

Bless your heart...to take the fairing off and on several times, just to make sure your speakers sounded good. I call B/S! But anyhow, I installed J&M speakers (only once) and now I have to install them in the rear of my Ultra. Since installing the JMs in the front....i have to adjust the fader in order to balance front to rear.
There are better speakers than stock and I didn't have to switch back and forth. .

I put the 3 way system in on my Ultra and loved it, but then that pez had to come out with the tweeter pod which of cource I had to have 5 stars. Work with Pez direct may pay touch more but customer service pays for itself.

I loves dems J&M cause they is got the bestest speekers! I got me sum and theys was awesome,,,,, Hogtunes gots better custumer servise and better prise but hell know I say! I gets me sum J&M cause they kneed monee to pay fur dat gas fur dat big *** trailer I sees at da railles!! J&M,,,,day is messes up my fader though,,,,No switchin though!!!,,,, hells yea J&M!
