Got my 2010 FLHTK Merlot Sunglo/Cherry Red Sunglo for about $2K below MSRP
Bought out of state - Bartlesville Cycle Sports / Barltesville, OK (ask for Norman).
Good people to deal with. I was worried about buying out of state, but they made it hassle free - honored the price they told me on my trade sight unseen. Gave me an "out the door" price by e-mail. No extra BS. Had both custom colors in stock and a black/blue. Was well worth the 650 mile round trip drive. Going today to pay the TT & L.

Paid less than the msrp out the door back in November. I tried to deal with the immediate metro Atlanta dealers but no one was willing to wiggle so I sent out the exact same email to every dealer within less than a days drive 1 way, got about 10 to 15 replys of which 2 were less than msrp total cost out the door 1 was within 2 hours the other was about 4 hours away.

I wasnt looking for a UC but I was looking for a Classic for a while. I worked a deal with a dealer close by for 20k OTD (included tax, title and fees). This was for a 2010 Vivid black Classic with security, cruise and ABS. Sadly I passed on the deal and bought used

Shop around local dealers and start emailing. You will get a good idea of what they have to offer. Once you get a quote that is acceptable to you then start taking that quote and going back to the others dealers with your quoted price and see if they can do better. You will quickly see what dealers are willing to get your business.

paid msrp for my new UC, my used 04 RKC booked for 9650. the dealer ended up giving me 12850 for my trade on paper in an out the door deal. so there are lots of way to look at it. we went off of list instead of knocking some off of msrp. in the end it is all about the difference you will have to pay. i never asked just assuming you have a trade, if not then working down msrp is what you need to do. this is how all farm equipoment is sold around here so i am familiar with working off list and getting the best difference to boot.

When I bought my '03 ultra from the original owner, he gave me the sales receipt. He paid $22k in Nov,'02 for it. That being said , today's prices seem like very good deals compared to what your getting on a '10. Bigger motor , 6 speed trans , better suspension, and radio. an all the other changes in the last 7 years. I just sold it two weeks ago for $12k. I think I did good with how the economy is these days.,

In March I paid $21,900.00 (MSRP $24,200.00)for the Ultra Clssic with Merlot/Red Cherry Sunglow. Dealer stuck to a price of $25,800.00 for the limited. Just wasn't worth the extra $$$ to me.

I paid $23,500 for a two-tone black and silver out the door. Non-ABS with security and siren. Including Slip-Ons, Stage 1 Breather,re-mapping, Tail light module and highway pegs.

I saved about $2500 by driving 40 extra miles to the east.

I was quoted $26K and some change for the same bike with ABS at the local dealership.
