Need Backrest Bracket Measurements
Tried posting this question earlier today and it didn't seem to take. if it did and I didn't see it I apologize...
I sold my H-D backrest on eBay. I thought it was complete. Having never installed it I really didn't know it was missing part of the bracketry. I have since learned that I am missing a piece of flat bar. That is pretty much the extent of my knowledge. Could somebody please get me a pic of the missing bracket and the dimensions? I looked in the big '07 HD Catalog that showed up today and saw nothing referencing it. I am pretty sure from the distant photo I saw that it is just a simple piece of flatstock with a couple holes. Even though I showed a picture of it on the auction and never "guaranteed" it was "Complete" i still feel bad for not having it all there. I put myself in the buyer's shoes and would be rather disappointed if I were him. I'd like to find a way to make it for him. SO, If you've got one laying around, Grab your tape measure and your digital camera and get to clickin' and measurin'!
