Default Cycle Shelter experience?

Does anyone have experience with this or a similar Cycle Shelter product?

http://www.cycleshelter.com/index.php

I'm thinking of purchasing one. Thanks!

I've had a Bike Barn for three years. It's held up through every kind of weather including 70 mph Nre Mexico winds. I just bolted the thing down in the concrete ofmy drive way and there she stays. Best 300+ Ii ever spent. Holds my Ultra with room to spare.

I have the trike model. Mine has held up pretty good. A neighbor has the regular model and the wind blew it and his Night Train over. He didn't have it secured down though. I also had the bike barn and as stated earlier you need to get it bolted to the gound to get it to stay in high winds.

I love my bike barn. It has been in use since june of 07 when I bought my flhx. It is slightly different in design then the one in your link, but pretty close. The one thing that sucks (and I should have known better right from the start) is that it has a piece of stamped sheetmetal about 6" wide that goes from the left side of the framework to the right side that you are supposed to put your front tire on for the weight of the bike to hold it down. Ya right...as long as there is no wind!! Mine moved a bit from side to side one day when I was at work and there was a windbag and scratched up the corner of my saddlebag pretty good. Even though mine is set on my asphalt driveway, I drove two of the longest Tapcon screws through the plate and one one each side directly though the pipe ad the rear "end" of the framework. It has been fine ever since. I am in New England, and before I had a nice place to store my bike for the winter...I used to set up a set of pipe staging frames over this and run some planks just to protect it from the snow load in the winter. I also used to use a small lamp with a 100 watt bulb inside it all winter to keep condensation down. Good luck!

Thumbs up Cycle Shell

I've got a Cycle Shell. It's similar to Cycle Barn, and Cycle Shelter, but has a substantial floor to it. You can stake it down, or just let the weight of the bike hold the platform down. I've had no troubles at all with mine - works great.
