Just picked up 09 street glide 1000 miles with extended warranty, I don't care for the sound it gives off, way to quiet for me, anyone out there that can give me some ideas on pipes, also will my warranty be voided if I were to just put on slip on's? keep in mind I'd like to still be able to hear my stereo, I had screaming eagle exhaust on my 02 fatboy and loved the sound but way to loud for this bike I think, thanks
Welcome to the board, lot's of good reviews on Jackpot mufflers here they have a few different baffles. Click the Fuel Moto link to check them out. Rush is also popular, lots of aftermarket exhaust out there
Rinehart true duals! Like it quiet? Twist right hand slowly. Want it louder? Twist right hand faster. Want EVERYONE to hear you? Twist right hand really fast!
You can't shop sound on this forum, or even listening to youtube clips. Been there, done that.
The particular sound you are after is simply too subjective to what your ears hear compared to ours.
That said, and seeing as how spring is here, head down to the dealer most Saturdays for free eats, or make a few local biker nights/events and look n listen for the style and sound you prefer.....That's also your opportunity to chat it up and get to know the good and bad of each brand from their experiences.

Rineharts are ONE of my favorite pipes for baggers. Second would be the Fatcat. Go and listen to some bikes first. Changing exhaust should not void your warranty. We offer the best prices around on all brands of exhasut with unparalleled service. Drop us a PM and we will take care of you.
