I use the zumo both on the bike and in the truck, just diff mount. If I had the XM in the Zumo, I wouldn't have to have 2 separate subscriptions. Especially since the bike sits inside for the winter, wasting the subscription fee.

I don't change channels that often, so using the handlebar controls wasn't that big a deal

RamMount offers a bent plate that attaches to the back of the zumo mount so you can put the antenna right there.. there is also an antenna with a short 12inch lead so you don't have the big coil of wire zip tied.

nevermind!

The outer faring is not difficult to manage even by yourself. I have had mine off a few times and it is pretty straight forward. That being said, I too am considering the XM module. Just not sure where I am going to mount it as I already have an amp in the fairing. Would be nice to see some pics from those that have both an amp and XM in the fairing

I just had the dealer installed the XM module along with the antenna. So far the only issue I'm have is poor reception. Is anyone else have a reception problem with their XM? The antenna was mounted according to the instructions.
