Default Working with ABS?

Thinking of getting a pair of Elite 3 tires on my new 08' Ultra which has ABS, so my question to fellow ABS owners is can I do the work of pulling wheels off and putting back on like I did on my 04' RK? or is there some computer ABS that will be a pain and a dealer/ shop only deal?
I just picked up this 233 mile Ultra and want to put the better running E3's on it (and get black walls at the same time) like I did my King and hopefully sell the 402's for cheap on CL since they are like new.

Just one sensor that the axle goes through. Look at the direction it is in before taking out the axle. This is the only difference

Did the rear on on 08 Ultra this winter. No problem.

Just make close note of how things come apart.

have done both front and rear. No issues. Just make sure the sensors go on the same way you took them off.

Speed sensors have positioning tabs on them, follow the manual and you'll be good.

i recently installed a new set of E3's on my 08 UC with ABS. No problem's at all. The service manual has a clear picture to follow. I do feel getting the right axle torque is important with the ABS. you are not only dealing with metal spacers, you have the ABS part in there. BTW, you will like the E3's! Big difference in ride and handling when I took the 402's off

what size did you order for the E3's for front and back ? I assume the UC is same size as my 2008SG... did you go with a wider tire for the rear ?

MU90B16 Rear MT90B16 Front. Rear tire is a little bigger. Not noticable though. There was a thread on here earlier talking about going to the 160 on the rear. Some said it would fit, others said not. I wouldn't do it myself.

if you shop around, you may be able to beat the price I paid for mine.
