I am certain someone has attempted this and knows if you can get this done.....I want to put on a set of 2010 wheels on my 2007 Street Glide. I know that the new axle is different, but is there a bearing kit or something that can be done to make it work? Also, can the old calipers be used?
Thanks in advance for the info!!!!!
Front wheel you can do with a bearing swap to your year bearings. If you dont have brembos you will need to use your old calipers, if you do, no problems.
you can find it at harley and you need the tool to remove the baerings.
be easier and cheaper to use your old rotors on the front 10 wheel and buy a axle and spacers for the 2010
2008 and later wheels have 25mm bearings while yours have 1" and some other models have 3/4". Harley make interchangeable kits, so many of their wheels can be fitted to alternative models. Your dealer should have them and you may be able to get them on ebay.
I think you will find a 2010 rear is too wide to go in your bike.
