I am also a Rush user on my 2009 Street Glide and I am very impressed with the sound of these pipes. The neighbors may not like the sound of them.
This is not an issue but a suggestion. I have the straight cut slip-ons and have changed my baffles out and or removed a few times to inspect. It is not very easy to get a wrench inside the muffler to secure the nut for the baffle. The nut is at least 6" into the muffler.
So I took my baffles to work and TIG welded the nut to the inside of the baffle. This allows me to just use an allen wrench to remove the bolt on the underside of the muffler and remove the baffle.
Just thought this helped a lot with installing and removing the baffles.
I posted about a strange vibration coming from my new Bub 7 Stealths. The very next day I was pm'd by a guy who designed them and from him to their warranty department. next thing I know, they shipped a brand new set out to me. So it shows these folks read these forums and are concerned with customer relations.
I hope it works out for Ryan, RUSH left me hi and dry with my slipons. I wouldn't put Rush on my garden tractor. Looks like they are trying to cover some thing. When was the last time you saw a co. respond that quick.
