i've been using the R12-G for years without any problems at all. i've used them in my last three harleys and using them in my newest, an 08 streetglide. when i find something that works, i stick with it. i'm not for all the gimmicks, like splitfire, iridium, platinum, copper core, etc. i have been using the R12-G just because they seem to work quite well without all the goofy two, three, or four legged stuff going on.
What is in my bike are champion RA8HC,my motor is a stroker with big bore kit and a bunch of head work. The plugs that are in it right now work fine but i was woundering if there was better maybe NGK's?

If your compression is 10:1 or higher you might want to try a one step colder plug.
The NGK would be DCPR8E which I think is an excellent plug.
Champion RA6HC
Autolite 4163
All are good imho.

Like Phil (you know, the guy that just built a 150 ft lb motor) said STOCK plugs, they work all the time every time, if youve got a big inch high compression build run 10R12 V-Rod plugs, they are colder than the 6R12's.
Seen every brand of plug cause problems including Champion that was sovled by replacing them with stock plugs.
Since I have OCD I replace my plugs with stock HD ones every oil change. The ones I take out every oil change are perfectly fine but I still do it just cause it cost a few bucks every month and a half.
Harley has millions of dollars in R&D behind their bikes and if they say the stock ones are good then I trust em.
What are the best plugs to run on my 2000 fi electra glide?Champion or ngk? Also what is the plugs # i should buy? Thanks
I've had excellent luck with Autolite 4163, which is one heat-range colder than stock. There is no problem with the knock-sensing function with these plugs. IIRC they only cost $1.75 each and are very durable. A tech friend also uses these in his '00 EGC.
