Extreme communication
My comming FLHTK comes with a standerd headset/intercom.
With this set i should be able to (wired) hear music (optional) and voicechat from my passenger.
What i would like to do is installing a Garmin Zumo navigation ( i believe the 660 is perfect for our needs). The reseller here explained to me that i will be able to here the voice (drive instructions) of this Zumo since it's also wired and connected on the HD equipement.
According to the same reseller i won't be able however to hear the following:
a)My GSM phone connected by bluetooth on the Zumo ( ishould be able to see on screen who is calling but i cannot answer the call)
b)I cannot communicate with another motorbike nearby (like riding in a group or so)
What ik would like to know and hopefully you all can give me advise in equipment and "howto's" is what i need to do to complete my wishlist in communcations.
Also, if your experience's are that it's simply not possible i also would like to hear.

I recently went through this scenerio myself and IMHO the best solution to this is from Kennedy Technology Group:

It has seamless integration into your Harley communication system. You can pick and choose which modules you need. The only thing you won't have is direct bike to bike communication but you can just use your cell phone for that!
For direct bike to bike communication you need something like the Cardo Scala bluetooth systems, http://www.cardosystems.com/scala-rider but they don't integrate well with the Harley system so it's one or the other..
