i have 01 electra-glide walked by turn on ingition and fuel pump energized flasher flashed two times key inspeedo lite up started bike key went away bike is on battery tender.have key fobs but never used them in the 6 yrs. i have had the bike any ideas that would cause this ??

question is why the 4 way flasher flashed twice and key light in speedo came on but bike started ok and key light went out !!

 

Sounds to me like someone may have jarred the bike and triggered the alarm - that's usually what they do if that happens.

 

guess i found problem battery cables alittle loose tighten them up alittle and 4-ways don't flash when i turn ingition. thanks guys ride safe!!
