I replaced the stock heat deflectors on my 09 RKPE with the chrome studded RJs to match my chrome studded Corbin seat to match my chrome studded Corbin backrest to match my chrome studded Desert Dawgs to match my chrome studded H-D windshield bag, and the RJs look great ...
Since your backrest and your passenger's backrest already have black studs on them, why not continue with the black studs. I've had mine about 2 years and pleased with them blocking the heat. Looks great, plus the fact that RJ is a standup guy!
Give Bob a call at 910-592-1585. He will make them special order to your liking. Great product that looks like it belongs on the bike, simple to install, and functions as advertised or better.
Mine are more than two years old and look as good as new. Love em... "No More Fried Thighs" is not a BS slogan. My "boys" thank me every hot day waiting for the light to change!
Had them on my '07 FLHX and loved 'em. Also had the black studded Mustang Solo, so I put the black studded shields on and it looked fantastic. They worked as advertised as well, which made riding more enjoyable.
Hell, I'd like to put a set on my '10 just for the aesthetics.
I asked thequestion on here 2weeks ago which heat deflectors to purchase

love them I called him on a Friday afternoon to make sure i installed the correctly, figured i would hear from him on Monday he calls Friday night about 8pm and talks about how to install them and some of the projects hes working on now, like i have known him for years
