Default mini ape issues

I just got my 2010 sg with 12.5 chubby apes. After riding couple hundred miles the bars loosened up and pulled back a little. Brought it back for tightening but hoping it's not something serious. I had them use Poly bushings also. And I love them but a little worried now, any one have similiar issues, thanks.

Drill out the risers and put Helicoils in. This will really help.

I run the Chubby Wild1 12.5 bagger apes and have never had a problem, they didn't tighten them up to spec , you shouldn't have a problem

You can get Helicoils at any autoparts store or Home Depot. I can't remember the size you need. Bring a riser bolt with you and measure it at the store. Get the appropriate size and follow the instructions. You will need red loc tite too.

Loctite is your friend. Red if you plan on leaving them in their current location, blue if you may want to adjust later on down the road.
