Yeah, it's getting pretty ridiculous. I sold a 700$ item on e-bay recently and when I checked Paypal there was a message that since I hadn't used my account for awhile they were holding my funds for either 21 days or until the recipient left positive feedback. I had no idea that this was their new policy. Jerks.

I buy things from seller's on ebay, but I quit selling because of the high fee's.

Same here, only buy, no sell on Ebay anymore, seems the vehicle fee's are the worst......

I just sold 7 parts that were just sitting around the garage and eBay/PayPal ended up charging about 15%.
It is high, but at least the parts are not just sitting around the garage.
And I have some extra money to take to Laughlin River Run.

Wow,, I have not sold for a good while, probably a couple years. And have never sold any large ticket items. (Most was probably 1xx.00 I do buy fairly often... I guess I'll keep it that way!

You can "upgrade" your paypal account for free and you'll be charged less. Learned that trick awhile back when i was selling a ton of stuff out of my garage. I forget the exact numbers but for someone sending payment it was like 7% and after I upgraded it went to like 3 or 4% or something....hell I forget.
