OMG!!!!! What a difference... these tires ride so well, no road snake following, track fantastic... just made my S/G feel like a new bike. Highly recommend these tires......
Thanks to all before me who recommended them!!!!!
I hear they're good, but I love my Venoms! I put the tire right in the center of a groove on a road and rode it for about 5 miles at 70 just to see how it handled. No problems at all.
Had one put on my rear ( 04 ultra) about 6000 miles ago and this week I put one on the front. I think they are better than the Met's I had on before. I could only get about 7000 mile on the Met's. rear. These ride and feel ever bit as good . The rear looks like it can go another 4000 with no problem.

Do you notice any tire noise from the E3's at 50 mph? I have some hearing loss and I can't decide if it is the tires or something else making the noise.

I had a speed-related (i.e. not gear or RPM) whine or groan at moderate speeds and blamed the tires and belt before finding out it was a tranny bearing. I will say that my rear E3 did whine a bit in curves since there was some minor cupping on the edges toward the latter stages of the tire's life. This whine was never intrusive and I never noticed it unless I was listening for it.
I just replaced my first E3 rear last week with 20k on the clock and it still had 2/32" of tread remaining. I have never noticed any noise with these tires going in a straight line, and with the new rear and front with 10k I hear no noise at all, in curves or otherwise.
Thanks iclick, The noise seems to be coming from the front of the bike. I'm going to redo the front wheel installation today. I may be hearing things since the 2 year warranty left the bike April 1st.
