2007 motor mount question?
my 06 raod king is going in for the new front mount in the morning, and just wandering? are they using the new harder ones that they starting replacing the bad ones with on the 07s. or are they still usig the softees that keep busting. im really not looking forward to the new mount considering i heard its not as smooth. i remember seeing a post on here right when the 07s came out that had all the specs but i cant find it.

Dealers were supposed to return to HD their existing stock of the "Old Style", and the new style was a running change for 06, and is the required change for all of the Touring line...
In a nutshell, the dealer HAS to install the new type...

I bitched about the new motor mount with the dealer They never heard about any trouble with the mount bs I know a guy on the form that went to the same idiot shop, yes the same mount is being used on the o7 and I was told it good enough for the 07 s it's good enough for the 88.. prior U S Marine Corps HOORAH Gunny.
