Default Power Supply in Tour Pack

I bought the power supply part number 91671-10 to put in my tour pack. I can not figure out which side it plugs into, there is an open connection on the left side and no one is taken on the right. I tried connecting to both, I seem to have power but no ground at either.

Anyone else do this and have this problem or have any ideas about what I've done wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Not sure what you mean when you talk about open connection and "no one" is taken on the right. Are you talking about the plug in's under the seat? Also when you say you have power but no ground. If it is the same as my 2003 EG then one of the connectors is associated with the accessory switch and it must be switched on.

What year, my 2010 Ultra has the connector for the power connector in the tour pack already. I found the part numbers for the pins and connector and went to the dealer and bought them for less than $5.00 and bought the cig lighter type power connector at Advance auto for another $8.00 and put it in myself. Power and Gnd are in that spare connector on the clutch side on the bottom of the tour pack.

Sorry, I meant that on the clutch side there is the same style connection that this plugs into, it has nothing plugged into it and on the throttle side there is the same style connection but is being used(I do have a y adapter if needed) I have a 2009 Electra Classic. When I tried plugging the power into either side it does seem to work with the acc switch on. I am confused because when I use a tester light there seems to be power however I can't get any of my power cords to work from it, even though they work everywhere else.

I put the same power source in my '09 EG. All my plugs are being used for other accesories so I just used a probe light to determine power and ground and was able to splice it in.

Try using a voltmeter on the connector pins and see if you have 12 volts there. I think my plug has power when in the switch is in acc or ign. If you have power there check the power outlet. It should be working. I can't imagine the pwer plug would be reversed polarity. I would check my connectors but my MC is at the dealer getting the radio looked at, the audio is cutting out. If you have the service manual the connector is shown in it. That is how I figured out I had a connector in the tour pack to use. I can't even remember how many pins were in the connector but I think it is only two, 12V and Gnd.
