10 miles from home, coming up on Hackberry from the east and for the first time of the day decided to flip pegs down. Right no problem.......left, put the foot on push; and it goes flying behind me. Scariest part is my wife rides her scoot staggered behind me and all she could do was watch it (thankfully) bounce on by!
I went over both bikes as I do very carefully yesterday. Looked them over, checked oils, tire pressures, hands on parts looking for anything loose or obvious.
I don't know of a lesson here other then "be alert".....never thought my own scoot would be a hazard to her behind me but you never know I guess. That and this AM I was thinking we did park in a back lot at MR Harley yesterday since they were slammed full for their Kingman Hog Days. I can't shake the thought now someone might have been going after the pegs thinking we would stay longer then the 15-20 mins we were in the crowd? Naaahhhh
Appreciate that guys.......but they come with thread lock on the bolts from Harley. Do my own wrenching and very familiar with Loctite.
Now it could be we should not trust the thread sealant/lock the the parts manufacturer puts on there for MOCO. Maybe I should have cleaned it off and put on the blue.
Been there , done that, had to dodge an air cleaner cover that rattle loose and came off another bike while on the interstate running about 75mph. Funny as hell afterwards, but tense while it was happening!

I hope this is the end of it for her for awhile......last Monday it was a 4' snake (we think a green Mohave) at 75 mph on 93 then yesterday my peg!
Since she handled both like a pro today I can sit back and
