2008 Gas Gauge not working!!
I retuned my bike today using the SEPST. Before I tuned it, my gas gauge was working and the range reading on the odometer was showing the range. While tuning, after the gauges ran through their checks and I heard the fuel pump prime, then the upload was done. after disoconnecting the tuner and everything and getting ready to take it for a test ride, I noticed that my low fuel light was on, the gas gauge was lit, but was showing empty, and the range indicator on the odometer was showing all dashes. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be. I pulled the outer fairing and checked the plugs on the gauge, both are tight and I pulled them off and reconnected them to be sure. The plug that runs under the dash to the fuel pump and connects under the seat is connected and again, I disconnected and reconnected it to be sure. My bike does run, and the fuel pump does prime. I also took it to the gas station and topped off the tank just to see if maybe the float was stuck and maybe putting the gas in it would free it up...I hooked the bike back up to the SEPST to check the fault codes and it tells me that there are none present. Any ideas guys? thanks

Reload the calibration again. I think this happened to someone else too. Sometimes the calibration does not fully load for whatever reason so they recommend always loading twice. Mainly when it's a lot of changes in the new cal.

if you look at all the gauges, they have I believe a black and orange wire to each and the fuel gauge has a yellow with white stripe. if the other gauges are working then you might check the y/w wire for pinches or breaks it is the wire from the fuel level sender.. Hope this helps
