Not to hijack anyone's thread, but I think that the justice system needs to send a message about killing bikers. I understand that accidents happen, but maybe when someone gets 5 years in jail for vehicular homicide due to negligence, then, possibly, people will hang up their damm cell phone, and pay attention. Most likely, the accident will be ruled just that, and the offending puke will not even get a ticket. The a$$holes in cages need to realize that we do not have crumple zones, seatbelts or airbags.
That being said, maybe we as bikers need to be the ones that send the message. I think you get my drift.....
My thoughts and prayers for the fallen brother and sister, may the road captain upstairs guide him to an endless ride, and be with the families in their time of loss.....
