Default Heads

Will these work on 2010?

17071-03 103+ SE Heads.
SCREAMIN’ EAGLE® PRO
TWIN CAM® 103+ CYLINDER HEADS*
This Screamin’ Eagle cylinder head is designed to
increase performance on engines displacing 103 cubic
inches or more. The intake and exhaust ports have been
resized and reshaped to handle the additional airflow
from a 103 C.I. engine. When combined with the 103+
stroker piston, the engine produces a compression ratio
of 10.5:1. The combustion chamber design provides a
clean and consistent burn for large displacement
engines. Valve springs can accommodate cams with
.650" lift and 7000 RPMs. Intake valve has been
increased to 2.080" dia. Exhaust valve is 1.623". 103+
cylinder heads must be used with Big Bore Cylinders
(3 7/8" or larger). Heads are machined to accept
Compression Release P/N 29298-02. For race application
only.
Fits ’99-later Twin Cam models equipped with Big-Bore
Cylinders. EFI models require ECM recalibration through
applicable calibration cartridge or through EFI Race
Tuner Kit. See EFI Race Tuner Kit for fitment or calibration
matrix for possible applications.
17071-03 Black Highlighted. $1,149.95
17072-03 Silver Highlighted. $1,099.95

one thing you need to consider if your bike is a 2010 fltrx, is that you've got the cross link going from your front cylinder head to the left downtube of the frame. the heads you're looking at appear to be of 03 vintage which did not have the boss for that crosslink braccket. i would have loved to used the c&c ported screamin eagle heads, but as far as i know, they don't have the provisions required to attach the crosslink. look just above your exhaust header where it joins with the cylinder head. that's where the cross link attaches and the other end goes to your frame downtube.

For that kind of money you can get REV Performance or Headquarters to do heads and they will perform much better!

For that kind of money you can buy SE heads from Zanotti's, have those heads custom ported and perform even better than stock!!!

Thumbs up Decision made.

Thanks for the replies. I snapped to the mounting boss right after I asked. Anyway, talked to my tech about all options & actual dyno results using SE heads vs. re-valving, decking & porting/polishing spoke for themselves. That is the route I will go. Drop it off Sat. & should get it back mid week! Thanks again!
