Looks similar to my old 6.5" Klock Werks windshield, but you'll need to decide if you want to see through the shield or not. These black shields are like an extension of your fairing & block front area view. I now have a 8.5" KW dark smoke shield which works well w/the wind & I can see through it.

I have one. Was gonna post a review, but in short:

Im 6 feet tall and I always run shields low enough to look over, typically 8", so Im used to getting more wind than someone that runs tall shields that you have to look though. I've run 8", 8.5", and 9" (the 9" was just a bit too tall, the edge was in my line of sight too much), strait shields (fastair) and Ive tried 2 different 8" recurve shields (fastair and clearview) Ive also had the 4" stock SG shield on the bike for a short time.

The Windspliter is PRETTY close in function to the 8" strait shield I had on. You get a LITTLE bit more wind, but not significant. The side "hips" do a great job of deflecting the air out sideways, and the recurve seems to work pretty well. The air hits me maybe half an inch lower, catching me about 3-4" above my eyes, or the top inch of my helmet, about where it did with the 8" shield it replaced.

I for one, did not like either of the other 8" recurves I had. While the recurve did kick the air up, IMHO I got FAR more buffeting. MUCH "dirtier" airstream. I remember with both of those I tried, my glasses would literally be rattling on my face. (I ride with a half helmet)

I dont get that with the windspitter.

IMHO, its a VAST improvement over the 4" SG shield, and its so close to the 8" strait shield I was running, that its really spitting hairs. I like it MUCH better than the two 8" recurves I tried, again, much less buffeting due to the "hips" in the shield.

And I LOOKS awesome (Ill post some photos later in the evening)

For me, If it was 1" taller, it would be the perfect shield, but as is, Im pretty darn happy with it. Its really good if you want a low profile shield that still works well, but if you need perfectly calm air, don't expect miracles from it.

Ive never tried the other formed shields, Klockwerks, etc, because to me, they look like they melted in the sun, and I just cant get past the look, even if they probably do work even better.

Thanks for your reply i carnt get any info apart from the part number over here in the UK my local dealer had no idea about it .
It was only that a UK magazine was doing a road test of the Limited and it had been fitted with one and in the photo it looked good.that i found out about it and it took a long search just to find out the part number.Ive just order one today so with luck it will arive before i pick my new bike up on thursday.
