Little back ground. I purchased this bike from a dealer used. At the time I was told that the previous owner had the 103 stage II, SE255 and SE slip on added. The bike has seemed to always run well, but I have always wanted to know what the output is with this build. So I finally bought a tuner (master Tune) and had it dyno tuned. From what I’ve seen here, the numbers seem decent. What I really notice after the dyno tune, is that the throttle response is smoother. Just thought I'd share.
First run without tune. 82HP 96TQ. After tune. 91HP 108TQ. I tried to post the scan of the dyno sheet, but I guess the file size is to big.
So are these number's expected with this build. Are they good? Or should they be better? Just curious if someone here has a similar setup and has dynode there scoot.
I think your after tune numbers are better than to be expected with that build, unless the previous owner had heads done, but that is just my jealousy speaking with my stage II kit. Have fun.
Numbers seem to be on par with what you have. I'd say your slip on are hurting the build, if you want more out of it down the road, consider changing exhaust, maybe a 2 into 1. I would say that the bike is running stock heads. You could have them flowed and gain quit a bit as well. Enjoy
I think the numbers are good and you will definitely enjoy the torque however, I think your torque numbers should be a little higher.. They would be quite a bit higher if headwork had been done, I don't believe that to be the case. I don't have any headwork or high comp pistons, just a stock 96 w/cams with close to the same numbers as a 103BB with bigger cams. I'm not bashin.. I'm just sayin.. If it feels good to you, that's all that matters....
Sounds good to me! I believe you have the same build as anther member on here who goes by UltraKla$$ic only he has a fatcat 2- 1 exhaust. His numbers are in his sig. Compare your numbers with his…
Those are great numbers! You can see what I have in my sig and my numbers are lower than that. When I had the 255's in mine with the headwork I was at 89 horse and 103 torque. The Andrews cams gave me 8 HP and changed the bike's manners from John Deere to Porsche...
