Not enough though, now I'm gonna compare my gauges with each other.

So looking at the other side of this. Maybe it is not as critical as we have been led to believe considering the variation of guages. Get somewhere within 5 psi and it's probably good for what we need.

Racing is a totally different story obviously.

Just sayin'.

Mine ended up in the garbage can a week ago.Damn thing was stuck on zero.
Tried removing and then reinstalling the battery,no change.

Think i'll go back to a Accu Gage.
The last one I had,I dropped it and was off by 4lbs. That also ended up in the garbage.

First off.......buy a "man's" tire gauge.......

These are from Longacre Racing......

http://www.longacreracing.com/catalo...st.asp?catid=8

Pretty freakin' accurate...I've had these analog gauges for a few years (4" in diameter), I'm pretty sure they make all digital ones now......

Side note.....you don't want to use a 0-100 psi gauge when you're looking for 36psi.......use a 0-60 psi gauge.

I had a large truck that needed 65 psi in the rear tires (that's why I bought the 0-100).

Expensive but really nice.

I believe the gauges I have are "advertised" as +/- (.5 psi)....

They're just MC tires.....why worry?

Get a flat in a cage......coast to the side of the road (99% of the time).

Blow out on a MC........hmmmmmm..... who knows what will happen?

I'll take the accurate gauge and meticulous inspections of tires before riding.

Just sayin'.

I just placed an order for two gages. One for my bike with a right angle and one with a swival for my 4wheel vehicles.
Good prices and affordable shipping.

I have an HD pencil gauge, a red hose type gas station filler/gauge, and a liquid filled 50psi (max) dial gauge and they all read within a pound of each other.
Good enough accuracy for me. The pencil gauge stays in the bike and the other 2 in the shop.

Take care,
Dave
