I added the 9 spoke chrome wheels and love them. So much easier to clean too.

Your bike looks great.

Very nice. How hard was it to remove rear tire? I did it on my old sporty, that was a breeze, not sure about the touring models though. Also who mounted your tires. I need a new back tire, but I don't want to pay the prices at the HD dealer.

Not difficult at all with the lift and the service manual. This was my first time so I went slowly. I think I can cut the time in half next time around.

A local shop that does mostly MC tires did my mounting, bearings & (valve stems - chrome 45 degree) for a very fair price ($65.95).

I called HD.....they wanted $150.00.....$50.00 for each tire and $50.00 for the bearings!!

I realize the saddlebags pretty much cover the rear rotor and pulley but I just couldn't get myself to mount the old chit on the new chrome rim.

I'm most happy with the fact that I did all the work myself (except mounting rubber and bearings).

My first time R&R wheels, rotors, pulley.......it was a blast, a VERY reasonable final price for all that was installed and I think it looks great.

BTW, took it for a putt yesterday........the Metz's are awesome!!

What say you?
Where did you get the wheels??
