I use the goggle type sun glasses with the padding on the inside of the frame. My only problem with them though is that since I use them with a 3/4 helmet, the sides get pressed into my head. If those side frames are not paper thin they feel like bolts being driven into my skull after about 90 minutes in the saddle.

panoptix are the only way to go in my opinion, one pair daylight or night, and no wind in the eyes, Ive put on well over 30,000 miles with mine, and never once had them feel like they where blowing off my face. My wife also wears them on her sporty and never had a problem. If yours feel like they are even capable of blowing off I would suggest a smaller pair or different style.

Goggles. I've tried various sets of glasses with the foam inserts. On long rides, my eyes were always irritated from dust getting up through the foam. Goggles cured this problem.

Ray Bans. Have used them for many years. I also wear a 3/4 helmet with flip down visor/shield which adds to particle protection.

RayBans around town but when I go any distance or if there the chance that I might get up to interstate speeds I go with Goggles every time.

I wear Oakley M-Frame sunglasses w/ interchangeable lenses for different lighting. They work great in conjuction with the windshield of my RK Police and my soft contact lenses. Mu buddy swears by Wiley-X goggles when he rides his Deuce.

I wear Oakley "gascan" sunglasses during the day (I love them and own three sets). I wear M frames with a clear lens at night. Heres a link to the Gascans:
