I like Lucy when she strips. Keep going. Remove those saddle bag rails,
(dropped mine 3 times, didn't touch the paint) front fender bumper, and a
shorter sport windshield to compliment Lucy's bra. . Take it OFF!!
Take it all OFF!

Love the transformation. I do not however agree with removing the bag rails as have heard at least one story where a bag fell off a bike on a highway and nothing was left of it.

How would one lose a bag, there are 2 sturdy bolts on each - just curious?
Looks Great!! I like to change the look of my bike quite often by changing from chopped to king tour paks, to a passenger backrest/rack to nothing hangin' off the back at all! Sure make these touring bikes look diffrent!

They are held on by 2 locking pins, not bolts...at least mine are.
One other thing i noticed when i took the 2-up seat off. There was some wear on the rear fender - paint was dulled.. HD doesn't make a fender bib - had to go to Mustang and get one.

Exactly. Here's my 99' with lots of the stuff stripped off.
The other side, with a mustang solo and a chopped tourpac in the forward position.
Good looking bike, if my SO, didn't ride all the time, I would seriously consider doing the same. If you want to get rid of the air horn let me know. I could use it to keep the tourist in line around here.
