Default Tour pack project

Well the tour pack project is now done, thanks to everyone that has answered questions over the last week.
I have everything mounted, the lights working and just did the speaker wires. FYI the radio has never been flashed for the rear speaker option, they DO work without the flash, you just have no front/rear fader. I do not know that that is worth having to have it flashed.

Now I just need to get the floor board vibration fixed and all will be good!

Do you have the stock front motor mount?

Have you added a rear stabilizer? If so, what brand?

I have a rear stabilizer as well as a new motor mount and have 0 floorboard vibration. TWR stabilizer and Glide Pro mount. The glide pro is very soft comparde to the stock mount. Seems to work very well. I know some guys have overtightened the front mount bolt causing bad vibration.

Just thought I might try to help . . .

Steve,

Thanks, the bike is a 09, it was smooth as glass for 6000 miles, last 1000 it has had a vibe in the floor boards that seems to be getting worse. Honestly it feels like the crank is out of balance.First dealer said "normal vibration" second dealer has motor mounts on order. If that does not do it I am calling Harly and getting them to check crank runout.
