Instructions were pretty straight forward except they didnt show
my compressor for the air horn, located under right cover.
So I went on you ****, no it was you tube and pulled up some
guy that had mounted a PCV on top of the battery. And he
did it all in less than 2 min.
My question is if I mount it on top of the battery, if and when I
purchase the AT will the O2 wires be long enough to reach the
the PCV? Dont see why not and it will be more out of the weather
than being under the right side cover......Tenn.Vol. YouTube - HARLEY DAVIDSON ROADKING'08 Installed PCV in Singapore(Part 1).www.teamhklracing.com
Not familiar with where it's supposed to be put on the RK's but that's where I've got mine on my WG and I can't imagine what it could hurt being there on the RK. I think that's how we'll do my dad's when the time comes.

Without knowing what year your bike is, it's kinda hard to guess what you're up against. Where is your ECM located? Can't you just zip tie your PCV on top of your ECM, wherever that is?
The wires from the O2 sensors only have to go as far as the autotune modules. It's the wires that run between the autotune modules and the PC that dictate how far they can be from the PC. There's enough wire to have the PC under your seat and the autotune modules to be inside your side cover.
I did the install on an 08 RK and yes the AT under the seat works great and the wires are long enough. The one tedious area with the AT on my 08 Classic was the rear sensor... it will fit but its tight....I really like the AT....
I did the over the battery install on my 09 ultra. No issue with the length of the at wires. They are plenty long. I also wire tied them from the o2 sensor along the way so the wires didn't get caught on anything or flop around in the wind.
I have come to the conclusion that I need some wire streatchers, to get this
PCV installed. It wont attach to the top of the battery as the video showes,
as there is less than 1 inch. between the trough and the plastic tray that holds
the ECM. and the ECM connector is 1.5 inch.
When I had the battery out I could not get the ECM plug to extend below the
top frame rail. (Thats where the wir streachers would be handy, LOL)
So with the compressor, relay and power wires for the air horn, and battery
charger wires. Damn it get tight down there.
My last chance is to cut the cable tye comming out of the trough, and try
to get the ECM plug BELOW the top frame rail...Right now I am going to
reinstall the Fuelpak, and ride.......Tenn.Vol.
I lifted the back of the tank to snip the tie holding the big ECM cable just so I could move things around and make a clean install. That big plug is now nested down in front of the battery and all clear to get at the battery. I put the Autotune modules behind the left side cover (left leg area) and fed the wires through the frame so nothing was up by the seat.
The PCV box is sitting on top the ECM with velcro and a small stretch strap.
