And if 20% of the people would do searches on old threads, then there would be 80% more space for the 25% of us who actually do search to post into the forum!
...8 is 80% of 10 which would equate to 20% more surface area than the HD.
I was thinking in these terms, but the main point I was trying to make was that it isn't 40% more surface area. If Arealinvestor was thinking the HD was a 6-row (40% greater) I was using the same formula for comparison. So, there's no fuzzy math here, only fuzzy interpretation.
I have the HD oil cooler, but I went a step further and installed a fan that comes on automatically when the temp hits 210 degrees. I found the fan on this site. it originally listed for $105.00 but the seller is now selling them for $90.00. The HD cooler drops my temps about 10-12 degrees (232 down to 220). With the addition of the fan the temp drops an additional 11 degrees (down to 209 degrees). Mind you that these are averages (I take the lowest temps and the highest temps and throw them out and come up with an average of 10 morning readings, 10 afternoon readings and 10 evening readings). My average variation without the oil cooler and fan compared to the addition of an air cooler and fan is 23 degrees cooler.
Hope this helps.

Do you have info. on who from the site is selling them for 90.00? I'd like to purchase one.
It was my understanding that there would be no math.....
I have the downtube-mounted Jagg on the Night Train that does an amazing job. I have yet to see the oil tank temperature go above 210-215 (and that was on a smoking hot day in traffic).
The Limited's got a 7-year warranty. I don't care how hot it gets.
I can do one better, here is the phone number of the seller 406 327-0781. Give him a call and tell him about your bike. He will listen and desicn a cooling fan to fit your exact needs (manual, automatic etc).
Hope this helps.

yes 8 plus 2 is 10 and 2 is 25% of 8, however 8 is 80% of 10 which would equate to 20% more surface area than the HD.
I just cannot let this go. The Jagg has 25 per cent more surface area than the harley davidson. The harley-davidson has 20 per cent less surface area than the Jagg.

Finally, someone understands!
Stay tuned tomorrow folks, we'll discuss the difference between gross margin and percent markup!
