OK...I think I have it down to 2...The one from Throttle UP or the one from Progressive Suspension on eBay both are around $140-150.00. Im kinda leaning towards the one from Progessive Suspension I like how it's install. If anyone has either...what do you like or dislike about the products?

The only negative I can see with the Throttle Up system is if you later wanted to put a center stand on your bike. It doesn't look like it would work with one. You could always put a display stand at the bottom of your down tubes though.

So, I have an '08 Eglide...it has this wierd kick when going into a turn. really is kinda startling at times....can be anyway...is this potentially the "wobble" this thread is referring to?
The bike has 12k miles so I tend to not think a worn out part..

And if so, I am being led to believe that if i secure my trans to the frame (or am i securing the frame to the trans) that this wobble/kick will go away?

Can someone explain this phenomenom to me.

Take a look at this thread.

I've had the TWR stabilizer on my bike for 3 years. Works great, simple install, great part.

Well I guess it work...just trying to gigure out "how" it works...How the Trans being braced up helps/stops the wobble is all.

For 150 bucks I will end up with one...just would be curious as to how my money was being put to work.

Yeah. The stabilzer's secure the back of the trans to the frame at what can be considered the pivot point. The swingarm articulation point. It only secures it from lateral movement. Not up and down so the engine/trans can still rock back and forth on the rubber motor mounts.

Some people notice this movement in the back end and others don't. HD knew there was a problem when they went to better swingarm bushings in 2002. Then they corrected the problem altogether for the 2009 model year.

Most of the stablizer's work in the same way with the Progressive Touring Link being the least expensive. My buddy just got one for $122 on ebay. A few of the fixes work at the swingarm by replacing the bushings for a firmer polyurethane bushing. I haven't seen any evidence to tell me one is any better than another yet.

A good set of tires such as Dunlop E3's or Metzeler's coupled with one of the stabilizing devices will transform your ride to equal the 2009 and newer touring HD's.

My wrench is very partial to the glide pro. After talking to him, reading all the articles on it etc I see some point to it, being that it doesn't add anything extra, no bolted on extras hanging off, limiting clearances or restricting any access. My problem...I've found very few that have used it to get feedback other than those posted to their site. On the other hand...many have used the True-trak and bagger brace and will vouch for it. Decisions decisions.....

THEY ALL WORK!

Stop thinking of it as wobble. It is a rear steer issue.

Find your price point and do it, there is no need to over-think this.
