Default Vibration

I have a 2003 FLHTCi with 80,000 km on it. I have noticed an increased intermittent vibration level recently, not unpleasant but noticeable. Yesterday I was able to correlate the intermittence. Basically when driving into a head wind the vibration is greater than driving with a tail wind. This suggests something is lose. The batwing, which would be the obvious culprit, seems tight. I haven't had time to take off the front of the batwing to see if a fairing mount has broken, but will try to do so this weekend. Any other thoughts from the collective wisdom that is the forum?

Just had the same problem. My dealer checked the head bearings, it turned out to be the front tire.
