This thread got way out of hand. If you don't like blacked out bikes.. Don't post here? Just say "I don't like the look" and be done with it. We don't need a book to be wrote here. Guy just wants an opinion or two.

Amen to that brother, although the controversy stirred up drives me! I like that not everyone likes the look I am considering, maybe it will **** them off so much that when they see my bike somewhere on a bike night they will just avoid me altogether and we can both be happy, everybody has an opinion, and that is what is so great about bikes, if you don't like black, a simple no will do, if you do like black a simple yes will do. Please feel free to explain yourself, but don't get pissed when someone writes something contrary to what you wrote. Accept it and move on.
Don't listen to the naysayers. I had an 05 set up like an SG that was blue and all chrome. Where ever I went, I found bikes that looked just like mine. Now, go to any dealer, show, or ride and count how many blacked out bikes you see; I bet you don't use more than one hand! Bottom line is.....do what you think looks good, afterall its your bike. Just my 2 cents!
