Default 12 V Compressor to Store

A couple of years ago i had a flat in Arkansas
and another HOG member stopped in his truck
and helped me out,
with some slime and an air compressor

it came in my mind a compressor would be great
but they are bulky ,
so this is what i was left with after i took
all the plastic off one of those 12v little compressors

it works fine and it will now fit in my lowers compartment

I just bought this kit

http://www.amazon.com/Slime-50001-Po...4225759&sr=8-4

Very compact, comes with a few different 12v connectors including battery tender. If it works if/when I need it, it should be worth it.

Great tip on removing the plastic. If it will fit in my lowers, I'm doing it!

I have one of those spark plug adaptors and 5' of cheap air hose...just remove a spark plug , screw in the adaptor and let the bike pump up the tire.
I now have spoke wheels and tubes, so it isn't too practical anymore.

Default Thomas Compressor

In my past life, I had a BMW K1200LT and installed a Thomas 215 air compressor under the tour pack. It is a small compressor that I bought on Ebay. I carried a 10' air hose with a quick detach connector and simply plugged it into the compressor connector when needed. It worked great. They can be hard to find but may be an alternative. Hope that helps.
