Default Seat interchangability

Which seats will fit my 07 SG?

I am hoping I can fit an Ultra, or even Electraglide Standard seat on mine. The SG is pretty, but I want a big pillow for my passengers tail

I hear there were differences in the front of the seat?

Stang, I really think you need to find a dealer who stocks the Sundowner two-up. Just take a look at it and see if you and your passenger can at least try it in the parking lot.

Some dealers will give you at least X amount days to return it. Talk to the salesguy at the dealer you just shelled out $20k to. He may be able to get you at least a test ride with it.

Much nicer fit for your bike and the passenger will love it.

My buddy rode 600 + miles recently to/from Vegas over 3 days. His wife never complained once and she's pretty picky.

UG seat may be comfy but the puffiness will ruin the sleek contours of your SG. 3 guys I ride with hated their stock EG seats. (Seems to be a recurring theme with most stock H-D seats).

If dealer doesn't have the SG version of the Sundowner have him show you the regular RK version. Same seat except the SG version comes in a perfed cover.

Any seat for a road king will fit, or if you switch out the chrome gas cap housing for one from a standard, classic ,ultra or roadglide,(find for 20 bucks on ebay) then seats from those models will fit. The only difference in any of the glide seats is where the nose meets the tank, road kings and the new trim piece on the SG take the short nose, where the others ride up the tank more to meet the shorter chrome piece.

427, get a Streetglide Sundowner! My wife gives it the thumbs up and it is way more comfortable for me as well, lower/wider!

Any seat for a RK will not fit a SG.

Any of the '97 and up will not fit either.A RK has a different dash than a SG.

Some of the HD seats may work but most aftermarket seats will not as the nose of the
seat is made to match the tank and dash a lot more precisely than the HD seats.

I bought a Corbin seat for a '05 RK Custom when I first bought my SG and it would not fit.The nose
on the RK seat was kind of square where the SG is more rounded.

I think just to throw a blanket statement that any '97 or up RK seat will fit a SG is incorrect.
